Additional Property Attributes

The known past use of the site was related to storage and transfer of grain or other ag materials, as it operated as a functioning grain elevator. There is no current use of the facility. The City of Flandreau has made this a major project to improve and redevelop the town. They are planning to demolish this old, dilapidated building and build a new fire station at the site. The first step is to assess for the presence of asbestos and thus they are requesting Brownfields assistance in performing the asbestos survey.
