Additional Property Attributes

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) completed a Phase I Brownfields Targeted Assessment (BTA) at the property in Liberal, Kansas. Based on the Phase I report, "Recognized Environmental Conditions" (RECs) were identified as significant potential for contamination due to the property's historic use as a filling station, as well as nearby properties' status as current or historic Leaking Underground Storage Tanks (LUST) sites, dry cleaners, and a currently in use AST.

Business Environmental Risks (BERs) were found during a NESHAP Limited Asbestos and Lead-Based Paint (LBP) Survey. Based on the information collected during the survey, asbestos containing materials (ACMs) and LBP were identified.
