Additional Property Attributes

The Property includes several parcels with varied histories that included residential, industrial (steel mill), and municipal (incinerator) uses. The Property consists of approximately 66 acres of land largely vacant with some concrete slabs remaining from previously demolished structures. The Property is bordered by Ecorse River to the south and west, a railroad to the east, a municipal facility to the south (potentially used for water treatment), and residential and undeveloped land to the north. Former Use: rolling steel mill, MI Steel Works, Great Lakes Steel Corp, United Steel Corp, 1923 - 2003. Developer is pursuing for industrial redevelopment.
