Claiborne Memorial Medical Center (CMMC) requested cleanup planning and cleanup activity assistance for abatement of identified asbestos containing material in a vacant house adjacent to the hospital's helipad prior to demolition. Following demolition of the house and clearing the site, CMMC plans to use the site for expansion of the helipad's landing to meet FAA regulations and better serve the surrounding rural community. Demolition was completed in February 2024.
