Additional Property Attributes

The Site was used as a lumberyard into the 1900's and was then utilized for manufacturing, painting, a foundry, production of hydraulic parts and equipment repair. A fire in 2004 destroyed both on site buildings.

The Phase I ESA identified the following recognized environmental conditions (RECs): 1) past industrial use, 2) semi-volatiles and metals identified during in shallow soil above cleanup criteria during 2006 subsurface investigation, 3) former fuel tank, 4) wastewater containing acetone, 5) former use of a solvent tank, 6) railroad spurs and associated concerns, 7) fire in 2004 that may have resulted in release of hazardous substances and/or petroleum products.

The Phase II ESA identified volatiles, semi-volatiles, and metals in soil and groundwater at concentrations exceeding both residential and non-residential cleanup criteria.
