Additional Property Attributes

Standard and other historical sources document the property consisted of vacant land until a building was constructed in the southwestern corner between 1945 and 1949. An addition was constructed between 1952 and 1956 and the building was demolished in 1956 to 1957. The building was occupied by a post office between at least 1954 and 1955. A majority of the current building was constructed in 1957 with an addition to the southern portion of the building constructed in approximately 1974. The current building has been occupied by various financial institutions since at least 1959 and likely since construction.

The identified REC includes the following:
* An automotive service operation located at the south adjoining property may have introduced hazardous materials and petroleum products into the environment.

The Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM) Survey identified 16 positive building materials that must be properly abated prior to demolition activities.

The Phase II Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) revealed no contamination in association with the previously identified RECs.

Following due diligence, the Developer plans to selectively demolish the existing building to provide space for the mixed-use development which includes 70 residential apartment units and 1 or 2 retail spaces.
