Additional Property Attributes

The site is 0.44 acre property with a 9,236 sqft single-story building, built in 1970. The site is currently owned by OnPoint Community Credit Union but is being transfered to Stewardship Development. Stewardship Development in partnership with Cornerstone Community Housing have obtained an option for development on the property, which, along with the four adjacent parcels they own, they intend to redevelop into a 100-unit affordable housing complex with on-site services. Units would serve residents at 30-56% of Average Mean Income. Cornerstone Health and Human Services would provide wrap-around on-site support to residents. They are exploring the community-centered amenities for the site, such as a community center, YMCA jobs co-working space and job training programing, and other support services that would be available to both residents and the surrounding community. The Phase I Environmental Assessment was needed as part of Stewardship's due diligence prior to taking control of the site and to determine current conditions at the site and its suitability for the proposed housing development and to safe guard the health and safety of future residents. The site is currently used for banking and office purposes and has been since the building's construction in 1970. Prior to that time the site was occupied by four residences from around 1909 to 1963. Before that the site was largely undeveloped. The Phase I ESA found no Recognized Environmental Conditions and no further assessment was recommended.
