Additional Property Attributes

The property has been developed for affordable housing. However, prior assessment activities conducted in 2009 related to a gasoline underground storage tank removal identified lead contamination in groundwater. As part of site cleanup, the gasoline underground storage tank and associated piping was decommissioned via removal in 2000. Groundwater monitoring was conducted in 2009. Assessment in 2023 was sought on this property using EPA Brownfield grant funds in order to seek a no further action determination from Ecology. There is not a pending property transaction; the current owner anticipates retaining ownership of the property. Ecology provided a no further action determination in August 2023.
