Additional Property Attributes

The subject property is comprised of three parcels. The largest parcel #40-01474-000 contains a 2,740 square-foot office building constructed in 1963 and renovated in 1978. The original occupant prior to Smith Truck Service, Inc. is unknown. The structure housed Smith Trucking's business office until the early 2000's when the business ceased operations. Most recently, the building housed an automotive repair shop.

An adjacent business (FeX Group) is interested in purchasing the properties from Smith Truck Service Inc. to expand business operations. In 2019, FeX invested $3.4 million in their Mingo Junction operations including $50,000 grant from the Ohio Rail Development Commission for a rail spur to the properties. The investments created 15 new employment opportunities while retaining 9 jobs.
