Building originally built as Burlington Northern Railroad freight depot from 1903-1905, 3 blocks east of present site. Building moved to current location in early 1970's to serve as a community center. The City of Deering plans to demolish the existing structure and build a new community center in it's place when funding can be raised, it will serve as greenspace until then.
