Additional Property Attributes

Property was vacant prior to 1924 when a 3,213 square foot school building was erected on the site. The school building has been vacant for over a year. North of the subject property sits a gasoline station. The gas station was built in the 1950s and historically had six USTs. Three of the USTs are active. A leak was reported at the facility in 1990. Total hydrocarbons were detected in soil and cleanup along with no further action obtained in December 1991. Based on proximity/location from subject property it is deemed a REC and further investigation was recommended by the environmental consultant.
An asbestos and lead based paint inspection was conducted May 2023 and both were found above statewide standard levels requiring abatement prior to renovation or deconstruction.
The school building operated until 2022 when it closed permanently and the building has been vacant since.
