Additional Property Attributes

Site history includes activities such as a machine shop, 2 UST facilities, a dentist office (briefly), and most recently a consignment sales location for past 15 years.

Phase 2 revealed Asbestos Containing Materials in portions of the office building and TPH-DRO contamination in Groundwater above the MDEQ Brownfield TRGs.

Phase 3 determined that petroleum contamination is below action levels from a Tier 2 analysis. Asbestos will need to be abated prior to renovation or demolition of buildings on site. Supplemental action included an analysis of brownfield cleanup alternatives for asbestos.

TBA applicant has submitted an application to join the Mississippi Brownfield Program to leverage liability protection and tax incentives for remediation of asbestos containing materials. TPH-DRO remediation is not required due to a Tier 2 analysis resulting in below action levels.
