Additional Property Attributes

The property is currently developed with a one-story office and garage building. The property was developed as early as 1911 with residential and commercial buildings. By 1926, the property was developed with a filling station in the southeast corner of the property as well as stores, garages, a blacksmith, and a tourist camp. The current on site building was constructed in 1957 and operated as a filling station until the 1980s or 1990s. Towing, car sales, and car and truck repair operations were conducted on site between 2005 and 2020. The site is currently used for storage and RV space rental. As part of the Phase II ESA, a ground penetrating radar survey identified two USTs present in a basin to the east of the site building. Sampling identified lead, benzo(a)pyrene, and TPH-DRO above state screening levels in surface soil. TPH-GRO and -DRO were identified above state screening levels in subsurface soil in the southeast corner of the site. BTEX constituents were also detected in groundwater above state screening levels at locations around the tank basin and the southeast corner of the site.
