U
Recommendation: Based on the scope of services, limitations, and conclusions of this assessment, Terracon does not recommend additional investigation at the site. Terracon reviewed the Pima County Regional Wastewater Reclamation Department website and identified a permit indicating the site was connected to the sewer system on February 20, 1962 (Permit No. 27152). Based on a review of other historical documentation, the buildings were constructed at the site prior to the date of earliest sanitary sewer connection permit. As such, there is the possibility that these buildings were formerly connected to septic system(s). Based on historic uses at the site, the potential for septic system is not considered a REC and note that Terracon did not observe evidence of a septic system at the site. If during the course of redevelopment, a septic system is discovered, the septic tank and piping should be properly abandoned in accordance with Arizona Administrative Code (AAC) R18-9-A309D prior to new development.
