Additional Property Attributes

Parrott Creek Child & Family Services, founded over 50 years ago, is a child and family services non-profit providing an array of programs ranging from peer-support through to behavioral health, transitional housing, and intensive residential care. They provide individual, group and residential treatment to the dynamic needs of vulnerable children and families. Parrott Creek owns and operates the 80-acre ranch dedicated to meeting the needs of highly traumatized youth. The property operated as a rural residential farm with a livestock grazing field and a small orchard since at least the mid-1930s through the mid-1950s. By the late 1960s, Clackamas County owned the property and leased the property to Parrott Creek Child Services. Parrott Creek constructed school, administrative, and dorm buildings over the years, and purchased the property from the County in 2020. Through a multi-phase expansion, consisting of both renovation, demolition and new construction, Parrott Creek intends to transform their campus from a series of ill-suited ad hoc buildings to a place where the residents can stabilize their lives, develop skills, and foster hope and success. Before expansion can begin, the property needs to be assessed for possible human health and ecological risks from potential contaminants commonly associated with fruit orchards and heating oil tanks.
