Additional Property Attributes

Phase II Details:
Surface & subsurface soil sampling was conducted at the site. Target COCs, TPH, lead, and benzopyrene were found in excess of TRRP Tier 1 Residential PCLs.
Additional soil sampling is needed to determine extent of COCs in site soil & determine possible sources of contamination.
A groundwater assessment may need to be conducted.
Depending on future site use, a soil vapor assessment may also be needed. Soil vapor venting and/or barrier systems may need to be installed if a building is ever put on the site.

Institutional/Engineering Controls:
Depending on how the site is developed in the future, engineering controls may be needed to prevent vapor intrusion into any buildings built on the Subject Property.

Future Use: Revitalize the greenspace for use as a park in a historically underserved neighborhood.

Site was referred to EPA for additional assessment, delineation, and removal/remediation. TCEQ and EPA meeting the week of July 15, 2024 to discuss further site work needed.
