Additional Property Attributes

The Madison Medical Center, affiliated with Madison County, has applied for a Brownfields Assessment. The hospital was constructed in 1961 and currently consists of three buildings totalling approximately 88,000 square feet. This assessment only addresses the original hospital wing, approximately 20,000 square feet, and the Nursing Home East Wing, approximately 4,000 square feet, which are currently used for storage. The original hospital wing will be renovated for office space and possibly patient use. The nursing home wing will be renovated to once again be used as a nursing home.

No RECS were identified. Asbestos-containing material (ACM) and lead-based paint (LBP) were both positively identified in the buildings.
