The site is comprised of four parcels (Pima County Assessor Parcel Nos. [APNs] 118-18-1800, 118-18-1880, 118-18-1930, and 118-18-1940) located at 1749 South 6th Avenue, South Tucson, Pima County, Arizona. According to online Pima County Assessor records, the site is a �1.97-acre tract of land developed with a �10,430 square foot motel, reportedly constructed between 1932 and 1946, and a mobile home park with laundromat, reportedly constructed in 1939. The site currently operates as the Arizona Motel and mobile home park. Based on historical information reviewed, the site was developed with multiple cottages along the southwest portion of the site, as early as 1936, the earliest documentation available. By 1947, additional cottages were added in a horseshoe shape on the southwest portion of the site and the west portion was used as a mobile home park. The cottages were interconnected to resemble the current configuration by 1949. The storage building within the mobile home park was constructed by 1972. The site formerly operated as Arizona Motel and Trailer Court (1935-1991), Arizona Trailer Court (1992-2010), and the Arizona Motel (2010 to present). Based on the scope of services, limitations, and conclusions of this assessment, Terracon does not recommend additional investigation at the site.
