Additional Property Attributes

The property is currently developed with an apartment building, house, and garage, all constructed in the early 1900s and renovated between the 1960s and 1980s. The property was used for residential purposes from first development until the property was vacated approximately 20 years ago. A regulated building materials survey identified the presence of asbestos containing materials and lead based paint in the buildings. A concrete incinerator for burning household waste is located in the yard of the house on the northeast portion of the property. Soil sampling identified the presence of dioxin furan compounds above EPA residential screening levels around the concrete incinerator. Redevelopment plans include demolition of the buildings and construction of teacher workforce housing.
