Additional Property Attributes

The Moose Building was built in 1923, and served as a fraternal lodge with a grand meeting room and event space on the 3rd floor, offices on the 2nd floor, and two commercial spaces on the ground level. The building remained the meeting space and headquarters of the Moose Lodge #375 for nearly 80 years, until the chapter disbanded in 2002. The building also housed a variety of other businesses and functions, including a small movie theater, a printing shop, offices, and apartments. It has also featured bakeries, restaurants, and bars since 2002. In recent years, it has been largely vacant.

Asbestos containing materials and lead based paint have been confirmed as being present in some of the building materials.
