Additional Property Attributes

The subject property is currently owned by Tri State Electric & Machine Co. [as of 9/18/2023], who acquired the property from Rose C. Travis, by virtue of a deed recorded August 11, 1943. The subject property consists of one parcel of land located in a mixed-use area in Glen Dale, Marshall County, West Virginia. Based on the Global Positioning System (GPS) coordinates from Google Earth, the central portion of the subject property is located at approximately 39.934986� North Latitude and -80.753418� West Longitude.

The subject property is zoned as commercial and is developed with three (3) structures, totaling approximately 12,042 square feet (sq. ft.). According to information obtained from the Marshall County assessor, the machine shop was constructed in 1930, which is consistent with historical topographic maps for the subject property.

During the course of the Phase I ESA dated 9/18/2023, the past use of the property as a machine shop was indentified as a REC, with the implied COPCs being petroleum products and solvents used in the machining process. The historic use of the property as a fill area in the early 1900s is also considered a REC.
