Additional Property Attributes

The subject property, known as the former Campbell, Wyant and Cannon (CWC) Foundry Plant #1 and former Laboratory Furniture Midwest Company property, is located at 100 and 150 West Broadway Avenue in the City of Muskegon Heights, Michigan 49444. The Subject Property consists of two parcels, one of which is approximately 6.56 acres, the second is 2.27 acres (Tax ID Numbers 61-26-185-192-0001-00 and 61-26-185-192-0003-00) located at the northeastern corner of the West Broadway Avenue and Sixth Street intersection. Refer to Figures 1 & 2 for the Subject Property

The Subject Property has been utilized for industrial manufacturing operations since the early 1900's. The past uses of the Subject Property included use as a CWC foundry on the eastern parcel, and metal finishing, painting and asbestos board cutting for laboratory equipment production on the western parcel. The foundry structures were demolished in the 1980s while the laboratory furniture manufactory and associated structures were demolished in 1995. Since the demolition the property has remained vacant.
