Additional Property Attributes

The 0.66-acre Site was initially developed as a residence and 8,540 square foot church building that was demolished by the City of Indianapolis in 2019. The Site is surrounded by the following: to the north by a residence and a daycare facility, to the east by Station Street and a church; to the south by a church, and to the west by an alley and residences. Records indicate that a residence and a church occupied and operated on the Site beginning in approximately 1898. A 1949 fire insurance map depicts the most recent church building where the Brightwood Methodist Church and the Brightwood Community Center operated until approximately 2017. The Site has been vacant with no operations since the church building was demolished in 2019.
