Additional Property Attributes

Jordan Finney and Lisa Winter worked with Norma Evans to coordinate a guide to take them to Wilson Creek. Jordan and Lisa used a boat to go upriver and reached a beaver dam that the boat could not circumnavigate. They then hiked until they reached a river mile up the river from the bridge. Bear activity surrounding the village was high during this time, and due to fears of running into a bear, it was deemed unsafe to move further forward and return to the boat. Going as far as safely possible; they took samples from one river miles from the bridge and four more going down back towards the bridge. No visualizations of the mine were made as bad weather and natural obstructions (e.g., beaver dams) prevented access and limited drone capabilities. Before the trip, Jordan Finney had not been made aware that interviews needed to be conducted, and Maryann Fidel, Environmental Scientist, was also unable to conduct interviews. The YSI Dissolved Oxygen was unable to calibrate. We could also not fly the drone due to adverse weather conditions. More sampling further up the creek should be done. Also making it to the mining site for a visual observation and sampling done at the mine.
