The area of the subject property is located within lands that were conveyed by the United States Government to the Arctic Slope Regional Corporation (ASRC) in November of 1979; under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA) of 1971. The land is comprised of undeveloped tundra. This limited Phase I ESA included research of environmental database records and historical aerial photographs, as well as efforts to conduct interviews with persons knowledgeable about the area of the subject property. Based on the results of these efforts, no items or conditions with an increased potential for environmental concern were identified at the subject property.
