Additional Property Attributes

Property was developed since 1917 and buildings were constructed and utilized as a hospital until 2010. Medical offices operated at the site until 2016 and the property has been primarily underutilized and vacant since. Interior of building was deconstructed to make ready for reuse. A Phase I was conducted in 2023 and recommended additional assessment for asbestos and lead based paint given age of the structure. An asbestos and lead based paint inspection will be conducted in Spring 2024. Findings indicate that asbestos requiring abatement prior to demolition or renovation was found in the carpet mastic, sheet flooring and mastic. Of the 304 taken for the lead based paint inspection only one sample (original painted door transitions) found in the apartment contain lead based paint. No abatement is needed of the building as the structure is to be demolished. No lead based paint was found in the hospital building.
Property had a underground storage tank and it is believe tank is still on site but no longer in use. Additional sampling/testing recommended to determine location and contents of tank.
Currently there are no plans for redevelopment of the site.
