Additional Property Attributes

Developed in the 1950s, the Property was historically used as a textile operation owned by several entities, including the Floyd Garment Co., Donkenny Apparel and Fabric Cutters. By the 1960s, the Property was developed with approximately 79,000-square-feet of warehouse space and textile operations continued at the Property until the 1990s. In 2004, the Property parcels were bought by International Markeing Co and on-site warehouses have most recently been used as a flea market/market place for local buying, selling and trading. Several areas of the warehouses are in active deterioration due to exposed conditions. While a specific end use has not yet been identified, the Town of Floyd plans to demolish the current on-site structures.
