The subject site consists of four adjoining buildings (owned by the City of Eureka) at the southwest corner of F Avenue and 7th Street in central Eureka, McPherson County, South Dakota. The buildings are reportedly unoccupied. We understand the buildings are in poor condition some portions may be inaccessible. The buildings and approximate legal description are: � 602 7th Street, Lots 19 & 20A, Block 1 Mil Land Co. 1st Addition to the City of Eureka (0.8-acres), single story plus basement � 604 7th Street, Lot 20B & North 4' of Lot 21, Block 1 Mil Land Co. 181 Addition to the City of Eureka (0.2-acres), two stories plus basement � 606 7th Street, South 21' of Lot 21, Block 1 Mil Land Co. 1st Addition to the City of Eureka (0.5-acres), two stories plus basement � 608 7th Street, Lot 22, Block 1 Mil Land Co. 1st Addition to the City of Eureka (0.2-acres ), single story The City of Eureka has applied to the Targeted Brownfield Financial Assistance Program of the South Dakota Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources for assessment of the project site. They are seeking to demolish the four adjoining buildings.
