Additional Property Attributes

The subject site consists of an approximate 1700 sq ft commercial building on a 0.21-acre parcel at the southeast comer of N. Main Street and E. 6th Avenue in central Mitchell, Davison County, South Dakota. We understand the building is one story slab-on-grade and currently operates as a bar and grill. The approximate legal description is Lots 16, 17 & 18 of Block 11, (Ex W2' thereof & Ex Nl0' Lot 187 Less W2' thereof & Ex Sl0' Lot 16 Less W2' thereof), Rowley's 1st Addition. The current owner is Mitchell Area Chamber of Commerce Inc. The City of Mitchell has applied to the Targeted Brownfield Financial Assistance Program of the South Dakota Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources for assessment of the project site. They are seeking to demolish the building for redevelopment.
