Additional Property Attributes

This site's operation as a commercial laundry and dry-cleaning facility from roughly 1968-1999 caused PCE contamination in the soil, soil vapor, and ground water. Various remedial activities were conducted at the site on and off since 2010, including the instillation of a vapor extraction system. The primary contaminant of concern at the site PCE. The Portland Brownfield Program, under this CA, conducted a Phase II ESA with CMMP and Remedial Action Plan for the local housing developer Sister City. Sister City had recently purchased the site (and conducted a Phase I and Phase II ESA) for redevelopment into below market rate multifamily housing. This environmental assessment work was done to help them realize that goal.
