Additional Property Attributes

The property has previously been owned by the Atlantic Richfield Company, a butcher shop, travel agency, and daycare facility. Records revealed nothing about the closure of the original service station nor any approved permits for modification for a butcher shop or travel agency. The Property The Phase I assessment found historically recognized environmental conditions (HRECs), controlled recognized environmental conditions (CRECs), and one IA/REC associated with the Property. The IA/REC is related to using the Property as a former gas station. Atlantic Richfield Co. (ARCO) was the last user, and therefore, they are the defined "owner" (responsible party) under Ohio Revised Code 3737.87(H). ARCO is currently owned by Marathon and can not be considered non-viable. BUSTR determined the site cannot be considered Class C.
