Additional Property Attributes

The approximately 0.2218 acre property operated as a filling station from at least 1929 to 1972. From 1978 to 1999 various restaurants and commercial establishments occupied the site. The site is currently vacant and in disrepair. At least 2 USTs remain based on geophysical survey. A backfilled area was identified that could also represent former UST cavity. No UST closure documentation is available. Remnants of the former dispenser island are present. One REC/Identified area was identified and encompasses the entire property based on its past use as a gas station. Chemicals of concern include: VOC, PAH, and TPH. 2 anomalies representing potentially 2 USTs were identified. 2023: The November 2022 Phase I and geophysical survey identified two potential orphan USTs and a backfilled cavity where former USTs are no longer present. Soil borings revealed concentrations of naphthalene and TPH exceeded BUSTR action levels. Shallow ground water grab samples also identified concentrations of benzene, naphthalen, and 124 TMB above BUSTR action levels.
