The Subject Property is identified as Tax Map ID No. 072.-04-17.1, which is located at 3801 South Salina Street in the City of Syracuse, Onondaga County, New York. The Subject Property is 0.31 acres and is owned by Roger Thieben and T.J. Dillarcipretto. The Subject Property consists of a two story 4,292 square foot commercial building in the southwest corner, a single story 395 square foot commercial building in the northwest corner, and a 600 square foot garage building on the north side. The remainder of the Subject Property is paved with asphalt and overgrown with vegetation.

The Subject Property and surrounding area have been associated with urban development since at least 1895. The Subject Property was occupied by a gasoline filling station with three underground gasoline tanks, a two-story mixed-use commercial and residential building, and a single-story automotive garage from at least 1928. Between 1938 and 1951, another single-story garage was constructed on the Subject Property. Throughout the 1900s and 2000s, the mixed-use commercial and residential building housed a variety of operations including a grocery store, a training service, a temple, a doll house, a pawn shop, a restaurant, and a sportwear store. Sometime between 1967 and 1990, the filling station closed and the building began operating as an automotive sales and service shop. The automotive service / sales operations continued until the mid-2000s. In 2019, the Subject Property became overgrown with vegetation. Presently, the Subject Property is abandoned and to be foreclosed on. Numerous commercial properties have been located within close proximity to the Subject Property in the 1900's including two dry cleaners located at 3815 and 3817 South Salina Street (adjacent to the south) in 1959 and 1949, respectively. Gasoline filling stations were located at 3835, 3901, and 3923 South Salina Street (close proximity to the south) between 1935 and 1968. Automotive repair / sales shops and car washes were located at 3835, 3832, 3901, and 3927 South Salina Street (close proximity to the south) between 1954 and 2022. The information provided in the database report also identified four gasoline USTs at 3835 South Salina Street with no record of removal.
