Additional Property Attributes

The site was historically used as a grist mill, for feed/flour/coal storage, and as a sales depot. Large coal bins were previously located at the site, as were smaller gasoline houses. Past uses of the site also included manufacturing of brass pieces that likely involved the use of petroleum products and possibly other hazardous substances. Additionally, a railroad right-of-way abuts the west property boundary. This railroad was turned into a rail trail in the 1980's, but there still may be site contamination from when the railroad was active, before the 1980's. Also, an auto repair shop was previously located on an adjacent property west of the site, along with several other hazardous waste sites in the vicinity.
