Property Highlights

Based on the review of historical information, the Subject Property appears to have
been undeveloped land from at least 1954 to approximately the 1960s, when a heating
oil underground storage tank (UST) associated with an existing building located on this
parcel was installed. According to the Mason Valley Fire Department, Nevada Division
of Environmental Protection (NDEP) records, and City Directory records, the parcel that
the Subject Property is located on was occupied by the Nevada Army National Guard
(NANG) from at least 1958 to 2021, when the parcel was sold to the City of Yerington.
According to the Mason Valley Fire Department and the site contact, the Subject
Property was formerly used for storage. The Subject Property has been vacant since at
least 2021, when the City of Yerington purchased the parcel.
