Additional Property Attributes

The 0.31-acre Subject Property consists of one parcel identified by Herkimer County Tax Assessor as 120.25-2-8. There are no structures present on-site. The Subject Property is vacant and unoccupied. The previously existing building was demolished in 2015 due to the dilapidated condition of the building. Municipal water and sewer are available to the Subject Property. Electricity and natural gas services are available through National Grid.

The Subject Property was originally developed with a four-story hotel building in 1800. The building burned down in 1858 and was razed to construct a new hotel building some time prior to 1884. The Subject Property was also developed with several small ancillary structures likely associated with the hotel that were utilized as storage, hotel laundry, a livery stable, and auto garage. From at least 1944 until 2015, the Subject Property hotel building was also utilized for a few commercial businesses (barber, restaurant, etc.) and residential purposes. There is no record of industrial use or commercial uses typically associated with the use of oil or hazardous substances or generation of associated wastes.
