Additional Property Attributes

The Jackson County courthouse was originally constructed as early as 1886. Jackson County owns the Subject Property which is currently in use as a courthouse and municipal building for the county. Based on the March 2024 Phase I, no past releases and/or suspected releases were associated with the Subject Property. No lead-based paint was identified within the surveyed area, and two types of asbestos-containing material (floor tile and TSI) were identified within the surveyed area. The basement floor of the courthouse is no longer in use and the county would like it available for future use.
