Additional Property Attributes

Once known as Central Elementary School (Sidney City Schools), the property served as a public school until its closure in 2012. Following the closure, it was sold to a private owner and has remained vacant since. Constructed in the early 1930s, the building was first occupied during the latter half of the 1931-1932 school year, initially serving kindergarten through 3rd grade. In accordance with all relevant regulations, the property has been fully abated of asbestos-containing materials. The current owner, a private developer, is now pursuing plans to redevelop the building into 13 modern apartment units, complete with desirable amenities.
