Additional Property Attributes

There is no evidence of development on the Site by or prior to 1888. By 1911, the Site was developed with a residential building in the northeast portion of the Site along Railroad Street. Three smaller sheds were present to the west of the dwelling. By 1932, the residential building and sheds had been removed and replaced by a new dwelling. The residential building had a small addition on the southeast side. The Site was cleared in 1999 following a fire that burned down the residential building. The Site is currently used as an overflow parking area for the northeastern adjoining automotive repair shop.

Adjoining and area properties of potential environmental concern include: 1) an automotive repair shop (Accurate Transmissions) at 42A Oakland Avenue (formerly a gasoline service station), 2) a former automotive repair shop (Perfection Auto Radiator) at 39 Oakland Avenue, approximately 160 feet to the north and 3) a former railroad line (now redeveloped as a rail trail) across Railroad Avenue to the east.
