Additional Property Attributes

Based on a June 9, 2003, EPA letter addressed to the Subject
Property Owner, the presence of PCBs was detected in three soil samples collected from the eastern
4449.0001M000.128.R Phase I Environmental Site Assessment | ROUX | iv
boundary of the Subject Property. Based on analytical results, the presence of PCBs was detected
up to 2.2 mg/kg one foot below ground surface on the Subject Property. Based on MassDEP
reporting conditions in the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP), the Subject property is classified
as S-1 as it is within 500 feet of a residential property and the reportable condition is 1 mg/kg. When
compared to the S-1 RC levels, the sample result detected at 2.2 mg/kg. The Subject property is
classified as S-1 soil under the MCP, as it is within 500 feet of a residential property. The reportable
concentration for PCBs is 1 ug/L. When compared to the S-1 RC levels, the sample result detected
at 2.2 mg/kg is a reportable condition for PCBs on the Subject Property.
