Additional Property Attributes

The Property is comprised of 17 contiguous parcels and is wholly developed with commercial/industrial facilities and paved parking lots. The area was largely rural until the western portion was developed as a rail line/yard in the 1860s. The area was initially developed as residential after the 1860s followed by industrial development (pork packing and food processing) in the southwest portion. Industrial/manufacturing development along Spring Grove Avenue began in the early 1900s after construction of an industrial rail spur. By the mid to late-1900s much of the development included warehousing/distribution and use has remained largely such to present day.
