A portion of the lot falls within the boundary of the KRY Site, which is why there are institutional controls in the form of a deed restriction. The KRY Site falls within the domain of the Montana DEQ and the Comprehensive Environmental Cleanup and Responsibility Act (CECRA; also known as state superfund) statute. No further assessment was reccomended by the QEP due to the current groundwater cleanup/monitoring being overseen by MTDEQ at the site.
