Additional Property Attributes

The subject property is a former school building. Keith County Housing Development Corporation would like to redevelop the site into new residential units. The subject property falls within the boundary of the contamination area of the Ogallala Groundwater Contamination National Priority List Site. Electronics manufacturing, grain storage, and dry cleaning operations contaminated groundwater with volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and solvents. A Phase II Environmental Site Assessment is recommended to assess the groundwater and soil gas underlying the subject property for VOCs and a possible vapor intrusion concern for future occupants. Asbestos-containing materials (ACM) were identified in various materials throughout the subject property. All ACM must be properly removed and disposed of prior to building demolition.
