Additional Property Attributes

The current property owner (City of Winooski) and prospective purchaser (Champlain Housing
Trust; CHT) contact information is included in Form B (page ii). Previous ownership was
documented in the May 18, 2022 Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) Report1 and
consisted of a variety of uses dating back to 1909 (residential, a bank, grocery store, retailers, the
YMCA, a dry-cleaning facility, the Vermont Furniture Company and Richard Lumber Co., Inc.).
CHT, in collaboration with the City of Winooski, intends on redeveloping the Site property for
continued community use. CHT has enrolled the property into the State of Vermont Brownfields
Reuse and Environmental Liability Limitation Act (BRELLA) program.
