Additional Property Attributes

The Subject Property was first developed with residences in 1885. In approximately 1927, the central portion of the Subject Property was redeveloped as a gasoline station and between 1943-1966, a motel along the southern edge of the property as well as an additional fueling area associated with an automotive repair facility in the northern portion were developed. Since then, the motel and gasoline and automotive stations were demolished. Currently, the Subject Property is a vacant lot and is located adjacent to the former Lemaire Grocery Store. The Subject Property was purchased in 2021 by Lander County Convention & Tourism Authority (LCCTA) along with the former Lemaire Grocery Store parcel. LCCTA plans to utilize a portion of the Subject Property to expand the former Lemaire Grocery Store building and to utilize the rest of the parcel as a parking lot to support events taking place at the former Lemaire Grocery Store, which will be the subject of future renovations.
