Additional Property Attributes

This site contains one 7184-square foot gutted building currently in the middle of a rehab project. Past site uses include a general store (1910), bank, feed store, telephone (1910), printing press for local newspaper, and lodge rooms. In the late 1970's and early 1980's there was a restaurant with an arcade and Bill Backer (Backer's Potato Chips) owned the building and stored cars on the second floor. In 2008 the local Telephone Company took ownership and gutted the building and remodeled it into a doctor office. Anticipated future use is commercial "Made In Missouri" store on first floor and residential on second floor.
