Additional Property Attributes

The property is a vacant lot owned by the Board of County Commissioners. The property is located inside the former boundaries of the California Gulch superfund site, which is considered a REC. Other identified RECs include the presence of tailing and/or mine dump material piles on the southern adjacent property, potential mine dump material on the northern adjacent property, and the presence of a monitoring well on the property. Sampling identified the the presence of surface soils impacted by metals including arsenic, cadmium, cobalt, iron, and manganese.
