Additional Property Attributes

Historical: Sire has two 3-story structures including a former Post Office, and former depot both built before 1910. Was turned into a pool hall in 1970s and closed in early 1990s. Currently vacant and dilapidated. RECs: A coal furnace was observed within the basement of the on-site structure. Additionally, what appeared to be staining was noted adjacent to the furnace. Due to the nature of the dirt floor located in the basement, the potential for coal refuse to contaminate the soil and groundwater is considered a REC in association with the subject property. Additionally, railway ties were observed to be stored in the basement of the on-site structure. Due to the current storage of items associate with the railroad in the basement of the on-site structure, as well as the previous utilization of the subject property for railroad activities the potential impacts for contaminants typically associated with the railroad is considered a REC in association with the subject property.
