Additional Property Attributes

On *9/12/24 the City of Missoula completed a Phase I - ESA prior to the City acquiring the property which is anticipated in early 2025. The City plans to develop the property into a much needed 5.4 acre park for the surrounding underserved neighborhood, while the remaining .54 acres will likely include residential development in conjunction with adjacent City-owned property. No RECs were found during the Phase I. Properties south of the subject property include a State Superfund Site with a long history of industrial use. The property is located in Opportunity Zone - Census Tract 2.01. Anticipated leveraged funding will be reported in the future, including $2.53 Million using local funds for property acquisition and additional funds for park construction. *All activity charged to the grant was incurred before the grant end date on 8/30/2024.
