Additional Property Attributes

The property is a 4.21 acre parcel, owned by the City of North Las Vegas. A social services building is located on the eastern portion of the property, a radio and electrical building on the northwest corner of the property. The remainder of the property is fenced, disturbed land used as a storage yard for City of North Las Vegas Public Works. The surrounding area included commercial and industrial businesses.

The social services building was previously a City of North Las Vegas Fire Station. An underground storage tank was removed in 1994. Soil sampling was completed after the excavation of diesel impacted soils. Soil sample analytical results were below the State of Nevada action level for Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons.

RECs were identified during the site reconnaissance for soil staining, an area of previous fire training that included burning vehicles, and a paint disposal area.

Future use of the property includes the construction of a fire training center for the City of North Las Vegas, the social services building is anticipated to remain on the property.
